Our Mission

The Denver Urban Truck Farm is a project designed to demonstrate that food crops are not only easy to grow, but can thrive in the most unlikely of containers. We hope to educate and inspire people to think outside the backyard when it comes to urban agriculture.

Additionally, our current food system is built on unsustainably cheap fuel sources. The Denver Urban Truck Farm addresses this problem by growing food crops close to home, in a mobile format, using much less fuel than traditional corporate agriculture and shipping methods. While we do use fuel, we hope to raise awareness of the connection between food, fuel, and location in a manner that is creative and accessible to the general public.
